The temple is managed by the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, which was established in 1922 by Sai Baba's devotees. The trust is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the temple, as well as for the welfare of the pilgrims who visit the temple.

The temple attracts millions of devotees every year, who come to seek the blessings of Sai Baba. The temple is open every day of the year, and pilgrims can participate in aarti (a devotional ritual), puja (worship), and other religious activities. The temple also hosts various festivals throughout the year, including the birth anniversary of Sai Baba and the anniversary of his samadhi (death).

The temple has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years, to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims. In 1954, a new temple complex was built, which included a spacious hall for religious gatherings. In 1998, a new accommodation complex was built, which includes over 400 rooms for pilgrims.
