Do not Leave someone during bad Phase : Become a Companion during his bad time

Once a hunter reached the forest to hunt. He put very dangerous poison on his arrow and after aiming the prey he released the arrow but his arrow missed and the arrow hit a tree. That tree was very green and many parrots lived on that tree.

As soon as that poisonous arrow hit that tree, that tree slowly started drying up and all the parrots who used to live on that tree started leaving that tree one by one.

A very old parrot lived in the hollow of that big tree, who was very pious and of a good heart. All the parrots had started leaving that tree, but that old parrot used to bring grains and used to come and sit in the same bowl but was not ready to leave that tree.

The friends of the old parrot came many times and explained to him that this tree is drying up and will fall someday, let's go on walking to another tree, but the old parrot was not ready to go from there.

Now this thing reached Devraj Indra, he was told that there is a parrot on the tree on which he lives, due to a poisonous arrow on that tree, it has come to the verge of drying, falling and ending and an old parrot is still living there. He brings grains and lives on the same tree as there are many trees in that forest but he is living on the same tree.

Dev Raj Indra appeared and said to that old parrot that you are very pious, very good minded but you leave this tree and go to some other tree because this tree will fall in a few days. There are many big, green trees near the pond, there are big cotters, there are fruits on those trees, you can pluck them there and eat them, but you go away from here.

Parrot said sorry, this tree has given me life, protected me from predators, has been with me in every season, this Kotor is my home, I grew up here, how can I leave this tree. If there is a crisis on this, should I leave it and go, I can never do that.

Devraj Indra was very pleased with this talk of the parrot, he said to the parrot, I am very happy with this thing of yours, ask whatever you want. That old parrot said, all I have to ask is that the tree which gave birth to me, where I lived, grew up, which you can call my birthplace, make it green again as it was.

Devraj Indra watered that tree with nectar and made it green as before. Now after coming back to that tree, the rest of the parrots started living, that old parrot lived for some more time, then he died and he went to heaven.

This story teaches us that whenever a person has a bad phase, he is emotionally broken, he needs someone's support, someone is needed, if you leave him at such a time, you will not talk to him. If you turn away, no one is worse than you because whether you become a companion of someone's happiness or not, but you must always become a companion of someone's sorrow.
